Enovation Factory and UNDP Cameroon announce a partnership to launch the Scale 32 initiative, a national support program for innovative startups.

Enovation Factory and UNDP Cameroon announce a partnership to launch the Scale 32 initiative, a national support program for innovative startups.

Yaoundé, November 10, 2025 - Enovation Factory, incubator and gas pedal of innovative startups in Cameroon, announces the official launch of the "Scale 32" initiative, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Cameroon). This 14-month program aims to sustainably transform Cameroon's entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting 32 technology startups.

For the past year, Enovation Factory has been strengthening technological entrepreneurship in Cameroon through support, training, mentoring and networking of rigorously selected startups. Building on this experience, the organization is now partnering with UNDP Cameroon to roll out a national program aimed at tackling the main challenges facing start-ups - limited access to finance, insufficient managerial skills, poor command of regulatory frameworks and a lack of connections with investors.

A two-phase initiative

The Scale 32 initiative is being rolled out in two distinct phases. The first cohort will be supported from January to June 2026, followed by a second promotion from June to December 2026. Each cohort will benefit from an intensive six-month program, adapted to their level of maturity.

The system is based on Enovation Factory's proven programs:

  • The incubation program (Newbie), aimed at project leaders in the ideation phase or emerging startups;
  • The Cracker program, designed for startups already up and running and looking to accelerate their growth.

Beneficiaries will benefit from comprehensive support, including specialized training, personalized mentoring, dedicated workspaces and contacts with experts, institutional partners and investors.

A national, inclusive and transparent call for projects

Starting in November 2025, Cameroonian startups operating in tech, agritech, healthtech, fintech, edtech, the green economy and other innovative sectors will be invited to apply. The initiative pays particular attention to inclusion: young entrepreneurs, women, mixed teams and project leaders from under-represented regions are encouraged to apply.

Selection will be based on criteria of relevance, innovation, commitment, scalability and social, economic and environmental impact, assessed by a technical committee and an independent jury.

Clear ambitions for measurable impact

In addition to individual support, Scale 32 aims to sustainably boost the competitiveness of the Cameroonian ecosystem: creating direct and indirect jobs, improving startup governance and increasing their survival and growth rates.

The initiative is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular :

  • MDG 8: Decent work and economic growth ;
  • SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure ;
  • ODD 17: Partnerships to achieve the goals.

A shared vision for a competitive ecosystem

This partnership illustrates the convergence between the private sector's commitment to innovation and UNDP's vision of inclusive and sustainable development. Together, Enovation Factory and UNDP Cameroon affirm their commitment to making innovative entrepreneurship an engine for economic diversification and the creation of opportunities for Cameroonians.

An alumni program to ensure sustainability

At the end of the six-month support program, each startup joins the Enovation Factory alumni program, guaranteeing 12 months of post-program follow-up: access to the network, financing opportunities and ecosystem events, to ensure that the skills acquired are retained over the long term.
